The details on the "Hay There" are below, as part of yesterday's post - the other 2 cards are made with the totally cute Cherry-o paper. I used the new Fruitful stamp set (cause I like to colour stuff in) and cut the bear out with a Sizzix die my girlfriend lent me.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the hop, sorry for the confusion!

All my new stuff came in yesterday, it seems like I've been waiting forever. I had such a hard time deciding what to try first, I finally settled on the new CTMH Splendor paper and the Howdy stamp set, love it! These will be available to everyone on May 1st, so keep your eyes open for new idea Books and the new products Blog Hop on May 1st too. I'll be joining in the action with a whole slew of other CTMH consultants to show you all the great new products coming out!
The downside of having to use new stuff of course, is finding challenges to match. I used a sketch from CPS and i'm hoping I can squeak Heart 2 Heart with a double row of ribbons instead of 2 ribbons.
Anyway, enjoy and I'll see you on Saturday for the blog hop!

Birthday Bear

Hi all, how's your week going? Mine's been busy, apart from work, the kids, housework, etc, I've been making a memory frame (not really sure what else to call it, it's a big frame with a photo, poems and room to write memories) for a friend who sadly lost a close friend. It was nice to be able to do something for her.
So after I finished that, I started a new card. I used a sketch from Heart 2 Heart, colour scheme from the Colour Chef (another great CTMH challenge site) and some layers for Stamp Something.
There's not much CTMH on this one, the paper is from a retired set called Chillin', which is what I'm doing while I wait for all my new goodies to come in! The stamp is a Popcorn the Bear one.
I've also added a couple of layouts I've finished up lately, I have a tendency to start them while I'm out cropping, but not finish them for ages. These are all CTMH, it's so nice to have everything match. Enjoy!

Spring Babies

Two posts in two days, I'm making up for the lack of posts last week! This one will be quick, as it's Sunday morning, and I'm looking forward to getting out in the garden today.
This card is for the Heart 2 Heart challenge, a new Close to my Heart challenge blog. You don't have to use CTMH products, but if you're a fan, it's a great place to go for some inspiration.
I also used a sketch from Lil Red Wagon, and some stitches for Stamp Something.
All supplies are CTMH except the ribbon.
Have a great weekend!

One for the boys and one for the girls

Hi all, hope you all had a good Easter. I spent the weekend at my mother in law's - no internet, eek! I made a few cards while I was there, but I was a little short on challenge inspiration. I made a few "guy" birthday cards like this one, I found a challenge blog called Cards for Men, how perfect!
Everything on this card is CTMH except the ribbon, the paper is Back Country and the stamp set is Beary Best.

This card is all Stampin Up except the ribbon (Shh, don't tell!) I've seen this beautiful flower used in many cards and I couldn't resist it. I also had to get a big package of kraft cardstock, it's impossible to find around here, and a cute little tag punch. PS, CTMH is coming out with punches too! There's one punch coming in the new summer catalog, the first of many more I hope! I'm going to submit this card to the Pink Elephant, their challenge this week is Nature.
